About Heyrafiki
We are building the Infrastructure layer for Mental Healthcare: one system connecting the People who need Care, the Practitioners who provide it, and the Insurers and Organizations who pay for it. Starting in Kenya, built for the world.
Our mission
Heyrafiki is building the Intelligence and Infrastructure through which useful context survives, Practitioners keep authority, funded Care reaches People and others can build without starting again.
A Person should not have to start from zero at every new point of Care.
Repeated observations should help a Practitioner see what changed and what deserves attention.
Care, Benefits, Claims and Payments should work together without becoming the same Record or authority.
begin naturally, understand Practitioner fit and Cover, and carry useful context forward.
keep clinical authority while Heyrafiki carries the administrative and financial path.
receive better-formed Claim evidence while retaining adjudication authority.
fund Care without becoming the holder of anyone's private clinical detail.
They decide what Heyrafiki is allowed to do when speed, money and Care pull in different directions.

The system carries the weight, so the hour belongs to the Conversation. When convenience conflicts with Care, the Person wins.

Iris prepares routes, evidence and drafts. It never inherits the authority of the human responsible for the decision.

Relevant history can make the next step better informed. Role, purpose and Consent decide what moves.

Public interfaces, sourced methods and executable guarantees let others question how Heyrafiki works.
Care here already has to work across mobile money, split Cover, many languages and mixed Care settings. Designing for that complexity from the beginning makes Heyrafiki useful wherever Mental Healthcare is fragmented.
Team experience includes production systems across Healthcare, Insurance, Banking and Technology.
